Club News 13.08.18 Lotto Jackpot €16,000

Mitchelstown Rugby Club

€ 16,000 LOTTO next Sunday

Best wishes to all our Limerick members hopefully bridging a forty five year gap by winning the senior All Ireland hurling title.

No lottery winner last Sunday week in the Paulie Roches, where we concluded the draw on Wednesday night. The numbers drawn were 1, 9, 17, and 23. There was no jackpot winner.

Many thanks to all the staff of Roches for facilitating last week’s draw, and for the sustaining coffee. Lucky dip winners: Will McCormack - €50, Liam Barrett - €50, Bill McArter - €25, Catriona Murray - €25

The next draw will be Sunday, 19th August, in “Walsh’s Bar” which is famous for its great selection of drinks, cheery service, and the Yard Bar, which is smoker friendly.

The new jackpot will be €16,000 for a single winner, the highest it has ever been, or shared if more than one winner.

Entry is only €2 per pick of 4 numbers or 3 tickets for €5.

Remember, the odds of getting 4 numbers in our lottery is very close to the same as getting 4 numbers in the national lottery, but our prize is far bigger, over 250 times bigger in fact.

Annual tickets are available at €50 for 26 draws, with a bonus draw only for annuals. Contact Owen on 087-8112991 for annual tickets, or any other committee member. Rugby Club Lotto is now also available to play on line at www.mitchelstownrugby.com

Junior1 League Division 2

All the league fixtures are published and are available on the club website. Please try to arrange any weekend breaks for the blank dates to avoid any clashes. It is good to see that we are competing with ten other Cork teams, including Fermoy, Mallow, and Charleville.

Training is now in full swing, and takes place in Currabowen on Thursday night
