Mitchelstown Rugby Club – Quiet week on the field

Junior 1 Division 3 league

The league campaign resumes with a fixture away to Scariff, with our juniors hoping to extend their winning run, on 18th November. This will provide a useful break before the league match at home to Tralee on 2nd December, which will be a table top clash. Next up will be the Martin O’Sullivan Cup semi-final, scheduled for Saturday 8th December in Killorglin. The final expedition before Christmas will be away in Dunmanway on 16th, which will give everybody a four week break for much needed quality family time

Throughout the year there will be blitz tournaments and other interesting days to enjoy, and many opportunities for parents to get involved, but only if they want to!

LOTTO - € 17,400 LOTTO next Sunday week.

No lottery winner last Sunday week in An Bodhran where we concluded the draw. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 16, and 24. There was no jackpot winner. Many thanks to all the staff of the bar for facilitating last week’s draw.

Lucky dip winners: Dodo Crowley - €50, Mag and Carmel - €50, John O’Donovan - €25, Edel Morrissey - €25

The next draw will be Sunday, 25th November, in the Clongibbon Bar, which is famous for its superb food, especially the scones, and the wonderful staff with their attention to detail.

The new jackpot will be €17,400 for a single winner, the highest it has ever been, or shared if more than one winner.

Entry is only €2 per pick of 4 numbers or 3 tickets for €5.

Remember, the odds of getting 4 numbers in our lottery is very close to the same as getting 4 numbers in the national lottery, but our prize is far bigger, over 250 times bigger in fact.

Annual tickets are available at €50 for 26 draws, with a bonus draw only for annuals. Contact Owen on 087-8112991 for annual tickets, or any other committee member. Rugby Club Lotto is now also available to play online at www.mitchelstownrugby.com
