As we mark the third anniversary of our friend and teammate James Meaney, we take this opportunity to announce details of our upcoming charity fundraiser in memory of James. 

Mitchelstown RFC junior squad, club mates, backroom team and friends will take on the unique virtual running challenge of completing the distance of 551km which is the equivalent of running from Inishowen RFC to Skibbereen RFC, the most northern and most southern rugby clubs in Ireland. The running will take place from the 25th to 27th of June. 

All proceeds raised will go to Ward 2D in Cork University Hospital. Every donation, no matter how big or small is massively appreciated and will be put to great use.
