Match Report U14's V Muskerry RFC 14.12.2024
Our under 14s squad travelled to Muskerry for a 12pm kick-off on Sunday. The first half was a back-and-forth battle with both sides very even as Mitchelstown backs in the form of Joe Gallagher and Tom Walsh making the difference for us while Muskerry’s strong forwards proving their strength going forward. After trading tries for the entire first half it would end with Muskerry leading 21-19 at the break.
The 2nd half started horribly for our lads as Muskerry burst out of the blocks with 3 quick tries in the first 10 minutes. The game got away as Muskerry continued to control the game until the last 10 minutes of the half when our lads should great spirit to fight back and managed to finish the game on a positive note with a try of their own. The game would finish 56-24.

Thanks for all the support from the parents as always. We train every Thursday night at 7pm at Currabowen any new players welcome. Our last training of the year will be this Thursday the 19th and we will be back after the Christmas break for the 2nd phase of the league.
